Default Seat adjustment

Could not find it in search, so here's my question.
2010 XK, All the seat adjustments work except the back , will not go forward or rearward., neither side works.

The 2008 XKR I recently purchased had the same issue. A new, fully charged battery and recalibration of both seat control modules at a local independent shop took care of it.

Not a fuse but the module. It is only solved by reprogramming the module.

Yes it’s an SDD routine though I’ve heard some non JLR tools can perform similar routines.

I used the iCarSoft 3.0 to get the seat into the correct position, then assigned that position to a memory button. I was not able to fix the module, but I did fix the problem.

Interesting because when I had that problem memory recall didn’t do anything to resolve the problem.

My kid's XKR pax seat only moved forward, back, up and down. He set the memory to his girlfriend and it just stays there anyway.
I tried to flash it, but SDD said "Replace module"
