My seat doesn't recline forward,read the threads where it says you have to reprogram seat module but in my case a scan came up with bad switch, can switch be bought by itself or do I need whole seat control.

 

is? it a bad switch… or the module unable to confirm the switch operation?
If the module, this is a common issue easily rectified by reprogramming the module with the rightful program, SDD.
Your code reader won’t be of any value.
