You'll need to get the seats recalibrated. You can take it to a place that has the correct tools (SDD), do it yourself with SDD, or some handheld OBD2 scanners made for JLR will do it (My Icarsofft v3 couldn't do it for some reason though). Good luck.

The Autel AP 200 with the JLR download has the function. $60 on Amazon.

The AP200 is just an obd dongle.
So it would come down to the phone software.
Which one do you use?

They have their own. You get one manufacturer type data free (download) with purchase, additional makes for a price.

Interesting. When I was car shopping and knew nothing I did the proprietary FIXD unit.
Was great for scanning codes, but everything else was an upgrade and had zero option for manufacturer downloads.
When I shopped for something to display codes on my iPhone, I almost bought the Autel AP200 but the software I was going to use, Car Scanner, recommended a few and VeePeak was one of them and it was like $30.
Wish I’d known for a few bucks more I’d get extra functionality.

Had my indy shop install their recommended battery..they reset the seats and top as part of their service..

i have been retired 2 years and after 40 years of wrenching and full bore restorations , lucky enough to pay someone to do the job...

Will do minor stuff filters etc...

They must have changed it in my ‘15 XKR ‘vert. I’ve had the battery fully disconnected and did the reset a few times and never had to do more than reset the windows, and radio presets.

Quick "fix" with the Icarsoft v3: Move the seats into the positions you want, then use the memory function to set them. Worked like a champ for me.

Good tip! I actually bought an Autel AP200 and it was able to recalibrate my seats first time. And this unit was 25% of the cost of the iCarsoft!
