Service Required Notification ON, on Dashboard
Car: 2010 Jaguar XK Convertiable 5.0L
I have my Jag's "Service Required" Notification ON at startup. My car just turned over 127,000 Miles. I thought that was the reason it was on. I just did an Oil and Filter change after the notification came on. I do have the dreded TPSM Light ON and the car is indicatiing that all 4 tires are low pressure. I set the tires to the manufracture specsifications (Front = 33 PSI, Rear = 36 PSI). When I drove it just after the tire inflation procedure was completed, the TPSM LIGHT went OFF while driving. Then the next day the TPSM light was on again. I'm not to worried about that at this moment, I'm more worried about the "Service Required" Notification ON at startup.I tried the Procedure many times, "Service Required" Notification ON at startup will not go away. I did see several posts about this and one in particular said to make sure the dash does not display the TRIP A before starting the procedure. That still did not work.
During the troubleshooting of this issue, my OBD II stopped communicating with the car. I have two OBD II scanners and my OLD one connects and works fine, but it does not have all of the fancy tools like my other one does. I tried my fancy one on my Tundra and the scanner works fine. This my be a hint to my issues. Somewhere I read that I may have to disconnect my Battery for 10 mins or so to clear the ECM.
Any suggestions?

I'm pretty sure there is thread about this. According to a search on tinternet:
To reset the Service Required notification on a 2010 Jaguar XKR, follow this procedure, which requires precise timing (approximately one second per action):
To reset the Service Required notification on a 2010 Jaguar XKR, follow this procedure, which requires precise timing (approximately one second per action):
- Press and hold the rear fog lamp switch while the ignition is off.
- Press the Start button without applying the foot brake (do not start the engine).
- Release the rear fog lamp switch.
- Press and hold the trip computer cycle switch (within one second of releasing the fog lamp switch).
- Press and hold the rear fog lamp switch again (within one second).
- Continue holding both the trip computer and rear fog lamp switches. The message center should display "resetting service mode" and then "service mode reset".
- Release both switches and turn the ignition off.
If the reset does not work, repeat the process; users report needing several attempts to achieve the correct rhythm, as the steps must be completed quickly (roughly within a 3-second window for the critical button presses). Ensure you do not press the brake pedal during the ignition cycle, as this may prevent the mode from entering correctly
