I'll leave that up for you to read your posts and decide if you provided helpful answers or resorted to name calling. I don't judge.

Considering that my first response in this shitpost is that the XK really just isn't the best car for what you want to do, I'd say that yes, I did provide a very helpful answer to your problem, and probably the best and most realistic comment you could possibly hope for because the XK is a stupid *** choice for what you want to do. Calling you an askhole was a statement of fact. Go look up what the word means because that's exactly what you did. What I find amusing is that you think calling me an ******* is actually going to solve anything on my end and not at all be hypocritical. Do you feel better about yourself now? Do you think I'm actually hurt, offended, or brought to any realization that gee whiz, maybe I am an ******* and I should change my ways?

Not a ****ing chance, buddy. See, the thing is here... I AM an *******. And a narcissist, if we're keeping score here. And I'm comfortable with this because at least I'm true to myself and that's all that matters. I'll tell you one thing I'm not, though- I'm not some ***** mincing words and making people read between lines to guess at what I'm saying. Grow a pair, be a man, and stand behind what you say, you chickenshit. Yeah, what are you gonna do about it? Nothing, that's what. I'm here, you're there, and there's an entire internet between us, so just sit your old *** down and stfu.

PS: Go tell a mod I hurt your feelings and have them ban me; I gain nothing from being here, so my departure will have absolutely zero detriment to my life. Or don't because I'm just getting started here, sweet meat... tag; you're it.

Currently we use a widow mounted rack on the XK8 but that isn't a great solution as it hangs on the glass and only holds a 2 pairs plus they are subject to weather, salt etc and no way to lock. Anybody come up with a reasonable rack that fits and could hold a rocket ski box?
I own a 2011 XK and you would be able using the suction style rack, carry 4 pairs on the roof. But I hope you're not counting on having your additional 2 passengers sit in the rear seats???.. I don't even think there's enough space for a child's seat??... Perhaps 2 children could squeeze in the back suggesting their 10 and under...
I have a pair of Head skis that I fit to the Hatch window using suction style mounts... I wouldn't attempt more than a pair as the window would be under too much stress from the vibration of the skis on a highway.
Yes there is a pass through space above the rear seats.. Again enough for 1 pair, and having them rest on the passenger side headrest.

I did manage to fill all 4 spaces with adult people (all 170-185cm in height). Did 30km. Driving position was a bit awkward and back seat occupants were quite relieved and that the journey came to an end but it's definitely feasible 😄

Reviving a 6.5 year old thread?
Solution was simple, forget the coupe. Get a convertible, top down, skis in the back seat, arrive in style!

Well, sometimes I use the F250, sometimes the LR2, sometimes the LR4… but I luv driving the xkr in nearly any weather, even with the skiis on the roof, but preferably not on gravel roads.

I have the 2012 couple and use the SeaSucker roof rack for my bikes. The racks hold, even at speed. What is an issue is anything loose or close to roof that may scratch the paint. I may have some experience with this issue.
