Default SLIPLO?

In another forum that I participate in (another car with low front end clearance) this product came up in a discussion:

https://sliplo.com/

I didn’t find it in a search of this forum, so wondering if anyone has heard of, or tried it, to protect your splitter?

Wouldn't that stuff basically DECREASE the ground clearance?
While it may reduce scuffing on light scrapes, I'd think it would be more likely to cause more severe damage due to higher deflection.
Instead of getting a scuff, one would get a crack.

Agreed, the splitter is rigid with little give so it would seem adding an extra layer would only enjoin less clearance.
Unless the splitter is movable to being with I would think the other forum would come to the same conclusion.

If reversing, I would have thought the shaping would catch perfectly on any ridge & pull the front valance off.

That's not PROTECTION - it's VANDALISM.
