soon to be new owner...couple questions
So I'm thinking I'm going to pull the trigger on getting a 2007 XK. 72,XXX miles.
From Carfax it looks to have had the drain case evaporator hose work, and the leather dash looks fine.
Couple questions:
It has chrome side mirrors and a chrome "gill" (for lack of a better word)
What does this signify?
It says it has the "luxury package" But to be sure I need to know what to look for. What is in the luxury package? ...It has the 20" Senta wheels (curb rash on them)
Any pointers would be appreciated, Thanks

I forgot to ask....
Something I wondered about...
If the car is almost all aluminum, are there any worries about winter salt corroding any parts of the car. It must not rust-out like a steel car

Best to clarify: The "seats with the little holes" means that the car has the optional all-leather interior (as opposed to the leather/vinyl interior); the chromed trim is optional and as indicated, a dealer accessory. The "shark fin" means that it has the satellite radio option - which is fine if you like paying a monthly fee for radio, otherwise unnecessary...
The aluminium body will not corrode unless the skin has been compromised by drilling, but in general, no, it will not rust like a steel-bodied car.
These are fine cars in every way.

+1 with sov211; the aluminium body and monocoque are not susceptible to the same types of corrosion as a steel body, however, there is still the possibility of corrosion to the steel fasteners and the areas they contact the aluminium structure.
