Default Squeak from HVAC

I noticed this week that whenever I start my car, there is a squeaking as the HVAC turns on. The squeaking lasts for about 20-30 seconds. Anyone else have this problem or know what the cause is?

What year/model are you piloting? Are you in a garage when you start-up? If so, open your door and have a listen... Is it coming coming from the blower motor--or the engine compartment??

I have this exact issue. Brought it in to a Jag dealer (I have an aftermarket warranty). A) they said since the replacement tube is not "original," it is not warrantied.
B) but they could replace it for $261.
"A" seems like bullshit, but if I lose that fight, is "B" reasonable?"
