Arrow Steering Wheel Angle sensor always reports "-780" and calibration not changing it?

I have no other DTC or u-codes except for ones replated to replacing the infotainment and a vin-mismatch on the AFS headlamp module(junkyward unit pull from another car). Also occasionally get issues with steering wheel volume button and heated steering wheel occasionally failing and throwing a DTC code.

Is it likely my clock spring or ribbon needs replacing?

I do recall I can move the wheel and it will adjust sleightly from -780 but nothing resembling normal.

Yeah it most likely slipped internally.

You can CAREFULLY take it out and try to recenter it. They are sometimes marked, for example how many turns end to end or where the middle should be.

What I have done in the past is turn it all the way to one side until you feel some resistance, then back the other way, count the turns. Put it in the middle of that sweep, then plug it back in and check. Should be very close to zero. If it slipped it's bad and will slip again, but this would verify that the rest of your system is ok.
