Switch Jaguar sign from "words" to the Jaguar?
Is it possible to easily remove the Silver words "Jaguar" on the back of the 2007 XK?
If so, it is possible to replace it with the newer Jaguar logo in the middle of the trunk, like it is on the newer XK's?

jazzyjag,
To the best of my knowledge, the 2007 XK does not have the word "Jaguar" on it, except for the chrome plinth onto which it is embossed. Does your car look like this one? (Hard to see the word JAGUAR due to the reflection)

You can easily add the Leaper logo to the rear, above the chrome plinth. See this thread: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ar-lid-103176/
If you don't like the chrome plinth and want to change it to black or any other color, see this thread: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-plinth-85721/
Knomad is right that the emblems on most cars today are attached with adhesive tape. To make it easier to remove them, heat them up first with a hair dryer to soften the adhesive while working them loose with dental floss. A little polish/wax and you're done.
I see you're a newbie, so welcome to the Forum! You'll find a lot of helpful information here. Get to know the Search function so you won't have to reinvent the wheel. Because the current model XK/XKR (known as the X150) is in its 9th model year, many of your questions might have already been answered. Also, if you find someone's post to be helpful, be sure to click the Thanks button on the bottom right of that post.

This may be what you are looking for. It's the Jaguar leeper badge. Many pre 2012 XK/XKR owner drivers have added these badges to the rear trunk lid. The badge really enhances the Jaguar brand on any XK/XKR.

jazzyjag, not to sure what you want to remove as the jaguar name is on the boot plinth as on my 2007. I have the leaper on my speed pack spoiler. I also removed the old style XK decal and replaced it with the new XK decal as you can see in the picture, gives it a more modern look.
I can't find it on mobile but search for my old threads as I've not made many... Jeb has the Jag strip painted the body color instead of the chrome. It updates and cleans up the look of the rear and could warrant a leaper without looking too busy.
All of these answers are interesting but I suspect that they are irrelevant unless the original questioner (JazzyJag) in Vancouver clarifies what he means. Is he in fact referring to a 2007 ("new" XK - which has no silver JAGUAR badge - just the wide chrome finisher with the name incised) or to an earlier model XK8, or...has someone added an earlier JAGUAR badge to his car? a photo would help or at least a further word from Jazzy.
