Default Temporary suspension

Well it came a little early but we are expecting 4-8" of snow today. So it looks like I'll have to keep the driving suspended until the salt gets blown off. Maybe a month or maybe 2 months. Funny I just had it out last Monday to attend a veterans day golf outing and had a great time. Ok so I just put the plow on the pick up and started up the snow blower so I'm set . OK gotta go bring in some firewood before the snow starts . Enjoy the ride.

Should this thread be called 'Snow stopped play'?

Go out and have snowball fight!!

Although it tickles me that golfers will be lost unless they use orange or blue *****...the latter would be most apt!

Well, huh... I drove my XKR up to Lowe's today with the top down. It was a little chilly, but the seat and heater kept me comfortable. Nice and sunny, clear roads, very little wind.
Oh, and a couple Ski Resorts opened up today. Course that's in the mountains, I'm in the valley.

Well I got up about an hour ago and it is still snowing. Looks like we have a foot of snow with an expected inch more by noon. So no outside work until it stops. I just need to go clear around the generator so if power goes down we'll be OK. I didn't expect snow so early so I only have 3/4 of a tank of gas in the XKR. Shouldn't be a problem as I'll be able to get it back out by next month.. So looks like I'll end the year with 23K miles on the clock.

We had a break from an extremely cold weather front that put us down in the 20's for over a week. Unusual even for Minnesota. Today we have snow coming. Yesterday hit 43 so I was able to take it to a DIY car wash and then wax. Inflated the tires to 40psi, added fuel stabilizer, put on the battery maintainer, vacuumed the interior, placed dryer sheets on the floor, covered her up and well, wept a little.
