Default For those that recently replaced their Alcon brakes — who did you source parts throug

Been going down the rabbit hole trying to figure out who actually manufactures the OEM Alcon rotors and pads for Jaguar.

One thing I noticed pretty quickly — a lot of the aftermarket pad offerings don’t have the three cutouts/reliefs on the pad face that the OEM setup uses to better utilize the front 6-piston calipers. It seems like a small detail, but on a high-performance brake system, those little engineering differences matter.

I’m trying to avoid paying full Jaguar pricing (~$500+ for pads), but I also don’t want to cheap out and lose the characteristics of the original setup.

Interestingly, some of the ZF Group / TRW aftermarket offerings appear visually very close to the Jaguar-branded units — including the pad design details. Makes me wonder if they may be tied into the OEM supply chain somehow.

Curious if anyone here has confirmed who the actual OEM supplier is for these Alcon/Jaguar brake components, or has found an aftermarket option that truly matches the OE pad geometry and performance characteristics?

Thanks in advance!
