Default Trading up

I've been "sort of" looking for a while. So, when a 2012 fairly close, popped up last week I just had to go look. It's a 2012 XK in Ultimate Black with Black and Tan interior. 20" wheels (don't know the brand) and just 27k miles. A nice step up from my '07 and from the same dealer. Hopefully will go back today to swap.

Unfortunately, it doesn't have Steve's remote control option, so maybe he will offer a sale sometime soon (hint...hint) so I get to cram myself into the back seat again.

Congratuations and we're glad to hear you are sticking with us!
Great color combo, especially the interior.
More pics when you have a chance please.

Well, for fun, you could remove it from your ‘07 (IIRC there was only like one wire that was cut, that you’d need to splice back together), and then install it in your new ‘12.
But Steve’s a great guy, so yeh, buy another kit.

That would mean I have to get into the back seat of two cars
And since he ask, I'm thinking there might be some difference between the setup of the '07 vs '12

When things are unique, they are usually better cared for..

Well Sir, that is a beautiful automobile. Love love love the two tone interior! I have sworn to never buy a black car ever again...but that is by far the prettiest I’ve seen. Go now and buy it and don’t look back, Except in the rear view to see all the people checking you out....lol

Beautiful car, great seats, and I like the matching welting on the floor mats. Nice touch.

Wanted to wait on more pictures until my detail guy had a chance to work on it getting rid of swirl and most scratches. She cleans up nice. Just in time for pollen season.
