I've never seen London Tan on the standard seats, only on the Sport seats. That color combo was a key selling feature for me when I picked up my 12. Looks great.

Ditto. Its why I asked.
I too was specifically looking for it, but not in 2 tone.
They had it in the sport seat in a 2tone that looked very different from this one.

In the long run I absolutely am in love with my caramel color, I would want it in other cars too, and when I went to look at an Ftype (my brother bought one) they did not have anything even close to caramel and that was the deal breaker.

+1 on the caramel interior. I can't think of any exterior color that I wouldn't choose it with except silver / charcoal.

Very nice indeed OD, am slightly jealous as they didn't do interior colourways like that this side of the pond...or just it was lack of demand from us boring Brits?

Probably just lack of demand because the colors featured in the UK brochures.

This is from the 2012 facelift brochure:

Interesting u102768. You didn't show the options for the XK. The XKR is the only duo-tone that mentions the contrast stitching and this car is definitely not an R. If the duo-tone was not an option on the XK, I'm wondering if this is a Portfolio and how I would tell. I didn't see anything about it in the VIN decoder.

That is because the choices were limited but for completeness here are the ones for the XK for the UK market in 2012.

There are often variations between markets. These are the options for the US 2012 XK and, as you can see they have contrasting stitching.

Those are 20" Kalimnos Wheels. They're original. I have them too. Mine never look that good. Also, somehow I seem to Curb Rash them all the time.

Hey SPEAKING OF THE KALIMNOS WHEELS for those who know more than I: are those bolts or rivets (or whatever) purely cosmetic, or do they serve a function?

Yes, thanks. I discovered that along with the red calipers, both were options on the '12

Purely cosmetic (but that’s a function too, right?).

Yes, they function wonderfully as dirt-and-grime collectors. They are also great as time-wasters when you detail the wheels.
