While driving home on the 405 Freeway near Sunset Blvd., yesterday afternoon, I came upon the ugliest Aston Martin Vantage I have ever seen.
Charcoal grey exterior with yellow front grill, yellow mirrors and side vents, and purple wheels! This "pimped my ride" atrocity is truly the worst Aston I have ever seen.

That's the Aston Martim Vantage N430. It only comes in special edition colors and starts at $99k but you can't change the hideous colors that it comes in so thats what sucks about it. Look it up and you'll see.

You're right, except the one that I saw, which isn't shown clearly in the photograph, had bright purple aftermarket wheels to throw in the mix. I could see having the charcoal and yellow (except for the grill) accents, like the calipers, maybe even the side vents, but bright purple wheels?

 

Nothing that a can of spray paint from Home Depot wouldn't fix. "Beauty" is sooooo.... subjective... :-)

I believe I encountered a few of these on the Nordschleife - going much quicker than me, probably driven by experienced 'Ring pilots giving some Aston owners a jolly good scaring.

The 'lipstick' is reminiscent of BRM or some of the racing Astons of old. The bit I really don't like is the roofline stripe, though even that is OK in the grey-on-black version.

 

That's not as ugly as some XKs that I've seen on eBay!

Was a DB4 vintage racer and it ran pretty good but wasn't in the top 10
