just bought a 2012 xk would like to upgrade the nav system. does anyone know what the latest version is? any suggestions to buy?

If anyone would like to purchase the new 2013/3014 update for your 2007 - 2013 XK and doesn't need the Upper US and Canada disk, I would be prepared to split the purchase of the updates with you, as I only need the disk that includes Canada. This would reduce cost for each of us in half. ($100 each).

The disks are split between eastern and western US, with the mid-west covered on both, and I thought Canada was on both too, but I'll have to check mine tonight to be sure.

 

Yep, checked my disks this morning, both the eastern and western US disks have Canada.
If you find a US driver that plans to stay on one side of the US, or the other, they may be willing to sell you their unused disk.
(Since I've only had my XK for a year, and want to do some road trips, I'll hang onto both, sorry.)

 

I just purchased a 2012 with a western disk. I live in Florida so I'd maybe trade for an eastern one! I just got it today so I may just prefer to get both newer ones.
