My new Samsung S8 pairs up with my 2011 XKR, but it doesn't seem to want to accept my contacts. It's showing me the "Last 10", but that's it. My phone is showing me failures in the car accepting my contact files.
Of course this is not the end of the world, just wondering if any of you super enthusiasts had found a work around.

 

I have a Galaxy Note 8 and had no difficulty whatsoever in uploading contacts. I have seen the suggestion to completely delete the phone from the car and start all over again.

If it were me, I would ensure that I had deleted all of the previously paired phones and then pair the Galaxy 8 and see what happens. If that doesn't work you may want to unhook the battery and touch the two cables together to "cleanout" the electronics. That, however, may necessitate resetting all of the memory functions.

When I got into the car yesterday, started it, and checked the phone, everything was fine. My complete Contacts list was working just dandy. Possibly, a restart was all that was needed. Thanks again.
