Check your owner’s manual. It’s where you insert your key fob if the key fob battery dies and you need to start your car.

That's why I keep a spare CR2032 battery in my center console.

Are you in the right Forum? You signature and Public Profile show that you have a 1998 XK8 (X100). This is the X150 Forum, for 2007 - 2015 XK/XKR models.
