Default Wax on...wax off

Did my yearly wax job today..

Bought a light weight buffer earlier to correct a bird poop stain on the paint..UGH.. gave away my industrial one when I retired....

was SO much easier removing the wax with the buffer. .took less than half the time...

Best $39 I've ever spent...
I even volunteered to help my wife with her Audi!!

Very nice. I'm too paranoid I'll somehow go into the paint or something.
Just going to pay some more talented younger guy to do my color correction and a good 3y ceramic coat in the Spring.

So when I pick you up on the way down to Boca, you polish mine I'll install Mr12Volt in yours.
We are gonna look like twins though, similar to the Celestial Black in color.

My pleasure. Good to meet and talk cars. With all you have done and plan to do, you'll be one of the go to folks here in no time. Good luck. You've got my number if you need to text a quick question.

I broke mine this last week, first I managed to scuff a rear wheel taking a tight turn in a busy Christmas car park going to cost £180 to have someone come out and build up, balance sand and paint the wheel, will take about 3 hours to do. That is not the big issue, I have suspected I may have leaking fuel dampers since I got it, however I had found a little vacuum pipe had popped of the SC. I reattached and the petrol smell on start up went away. This little hose though had perished and I replaced it. The new hose kept disconnecting from the pipe it attached to so some stronger method s were done to stop this. All seemed well, I had notice prior diags reporting left and right banks lean so my plan was to tackle this in better weather. She has had new plugs etc, but some exuberant driving the other day, and performance restriction, engine warning flashing and limp mode along with what sound like pinking if old timers remember the valve noise.

So my work list now comprises of damper replacement (I have them just need to fit), front facing radar replacement, restore old speed control module due to software incompatibility and its not the faulty part. Have wheel refurbished. So plenty of spanner time and swearing, but I still think this car is brilliant. For my mods, I am going to look at hydro dipping, this will allow mee to have the carbon fiber look for the plastic engine cover and side pieces. It can be used on this kind of stuff take a look:

So, in theory, opening the valve a bit more will allow the exhaust gas to escape faster? Will you be able to measure any effects of the change?

Precisely and it should shift my power curve slightly higher n the rev band , hoping this compliments my 7200rpm
In terms of measuring the effect it'll be a trip to the drag strip and see if I can increase my mph from my last outing .

You won’t regret that mod.
