I believe today I fixed the miss fire on my XKR, I posted what I did in total on my miss fire help thread. I had bought a pair of CATS, if you don't want to spend thousands of pound try these I have: https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/ahgdiesel fit perfect from Germany. I also fitted brand new oxygen and lamda sensors and studs and nuts where possible. Without the mid and rear exhaust sections as I removed the whole thing damn is she loud lol. Anyway next will be straight pipes from Paramount performance. I want the tips to be black with carbon surrounds so waiting on that to be priced. Anyone once that is orders I will have an XKR mid section and back box for Sale in good condition

Pulled some runs today in second gear , results are interesting ! these n/a v8 love fuel and love to rev .
Finally saw 255g/s on this with the higher rpm
Finally saw 255g/s on this with the higher 7000rpm redline

Power is decent at standard redline but theres further gains to be had
Power is decent at standard redline but there's further gains to be had with more rpm

Dare I say it the biggest restrict now would have to be the headers

I'm not sure how the n/a 5l would go with the extra revs I think standard redline is like 6500 on them although you have vvt on the inlet / exhaust plus variable lift on inlet so it's packed with goodies also a variable inlet manifold so your power is pretty good especially after a simple tune , cats and x-pipe unlike the n/a 4.0/4.2/4.4 which are quite lazy and need the extra revs to make power

Finally got around to installing the ivory armrest

Side trim needs to be removed and also the key fob holder .
A total of 6 torq bolts for trim , 2 for key fob holder and 2 for the armrest

Can I ask, are those F-Type seats or XK sports seats? I like the diamond stitching.

Thanks , they're from a xkr final fifty vert with wiring harness adaptors made up .

Technically the f-type seats will work and are fine just as long as you don't need the tilt function for rear access.

I polished my lens after 2000 grit sanding. They have held up for 2 years, starting to yellow a tad.

That's pretty good actually
Mine were done about 7yrs ago and I just noticed it starting to flake and 2k is great it won't dull off or yellow it's quite resistant to the elements as well

Did you clear coat them, after the polishing? I did that and they look as good as new.

Guy no polishing I went 1200 then finished them off with 2000, followed by prepsol to prep the surface then cleared.

This is how they looked before applying 2k clear
This is how they looked after sanding , then cleared .
