Malawi, I will say your car looks very well kept and I like the direction your going with it, but I don't think the front splitter match's up very well with the shape of the front bumper where the splitter 90's up at the ends, just doesn't seem to look right to me. I would have liked it to be less of a 90 degree angle on that turn up or not turn up at all. I agree with Sturart the R really doesn't make sense to anyone that would know what the R stands for?

Thanks for the input. I started installing last night and finished this morning before work. I have to do further adjustments to the splitter this weekend to get the right fit.

Replaced the stock 'R' gear shift knob, with a piano black wooden one.

Very pleased with the look and feel of the new shifter. A fine match with the piano black trim.

For this easy, inexpensive mod see my Post #31: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...r-97554/page2/ It's a self-adhesive, microthin metal Leaper that can be used everywhere. It's probably what was used by the manufacturer of the above wood shift knob.

P.S. OOPS! I just went to the link for these stickers in my Post #31 in that old thread and it no longer works! Sorry if I got your hopes up. I don't know where to buy them now.

I'm not a fan of black wheels but they look great on your white car!
Don't like the new wheels, sorry!

+1 Black wheels but with some visual definition points are needed on a white (or black) car.

I have a set of black Vulcans but have been put off fitting them as believe they will simply disappear. So think you had the right choice with your old.

IMO the silver look aftermarket and a little naff, but different strokes as they say

Yes. My whole car disappears at night.

+1 for the Vortex wheels - they're one of the things that initially attracted me to the 75.

+1 Jaguar brought them back. They look fantastic on the X150. I also like the vulcan wheels. The vulcan rear wheels are .5" wider. A set of 305's would fit nicely on the rear vulcan wheels.

As far as I know, the Vortex & Vulcan wheels are the same size - 20 x 9” front, 20 x 10.5” rear. My Vortexes (Vortices?) have 305/30 MPSS tyres on the rear and 265/35 MPS4S on the front.

Yes, I have installed this exact metal sticker on my XJ's rotary shifter 3 years ago. Was looking to do same for the XKR, but like you, not able to find anymore. So the question becomes: can I easily remove and swap the top black covers of the shifters? The XJ lease is ending in 4 months......................
