What did you do to your X150 today?
Also installed a dashcam to record the travels. (Viofo A119v3 has been mentioned in this forum before, and had pretty good reviews. Wanted something smaller, but didn’t see anything that ticked my boxes.) Didn’t hardwire it yet, just tucked the wire along the headliner and down the right A-pillar, behind the glovebox, and through a hole in the backside of the glovebox I had previously made for the USB input for the ACM, and plugged into the 12V outlet. If I like the dashcam, I’ll hardwire it later.
That really was unnecessary though. There already is enough room for 305s to fit if you change the offset on the wheels and suck the centerline in a bit.
Too true @Cee Jay . But I think @blueballzz has a nice looking *** with that fender roll.
Were those PlugNPlay? They are a nice update.
Trunk with subwoofer
Replaced all six loudspeakers (standard system) with new good quality speakers and installed an Alpine PWD-X5, a combined subwoofer, 4 channel amplifier and digital sound processor which I found to be a good upgrade for our cars. It is designed to fit under the seat, but there is not enough room in the XK, so I made a little shelf and put it in the trunk. It has high level input so it can be connected directly to the existing speaker cables, no need to take out the existing amplifier, but also a bluetooth dongle so you can play directly from the phone. A dramatic improvement of the sound quality.
Next job will be to replace the rear muffler box with Supersprint Sport units that I hope will arrive soon.
That's like being without a parachute when you need one.
My XKR didn't have a spare because it has Alcon brakes. I kept a Bible in the car and prayed that I didn't get a flat until I added a spare tire.

and for BMW 'money'
Eliminating the spare to improve gas mileage is a bad joke, but the driver isn't laughing. His tire wouldn't take any air and he's up the creek without a paddle.
Eliminating the spare tire is one of the dumbest things auto manufacturers ever did. And the dipstick.

I’m guessing 90% or more, never have a flat on the road requiring a tire change. So sounds like a logical space and cost savings for the manufacturer, since few (except us) will complain about it not being there.
