'07 NA 82Kmi. Replaced the four O2 sensors with Denso OEM. Noticed an improvement in mileage, but not enough data to measure. My around town has been 10-12 mpg, highway 28-9 mpg. I understand that O2 sensors age, and get "slower" in their response rate curve. As a result, an O2 replacement at higher mileage can make a noticeable difference in mileage, particularly the around town value. Some sources say around 15%, some say as much as 40%. Will report back in a few weeks.

And I used SDD to do a system reset, so the relearn will start with the new sensors.

Snap, although you have just made me realise that the banner is now on the ceiling above the Aston, not the Jag!

My wife isn't too impressed. She wants her side of the garage back so I might have to toss a coin soon to see which one stays!

She has coped for 8 months so far though and winter is nearly over

Well, is it easier to switch the cars or move the banner. My wife drives a Cadillac, she parks outside. The garage is for my motorcycles and the Jag.

Nah, it's easier to get another garage. I have one shop with my two Mustangs on a property I own, another at my house for parking two cars and a stall for tinkering and woodwork. Also, so my truck will fit (and finally get a two-post) in the shop going up in my back yard.
More vehicles, more garages!

2010 xkr. The MAFs were removed and cleaned. There is one on each side in front of the front wheel well. Used the whole can on two MAFs. Car running great. Engine light cleared before I got to clearing it with my scanner.
Had the convertible top replaced along with the inner liner. Past owner ruined the liner and the top when replacing the rear window. The rear window section was rubbing against the back top bin were it comes over the pop up roll bar cover. This was cause by the holding straps being stretched out. This was fixed by replacing and doubling up the straps. New top is a GAHH. $1000 on line. GAHH preferred by all shops I talked to.

Thanks for the birthday wishes from the forum. Took my "XKPURR" and my wife on a 30 minute run in the sunshine to my favorite water side restaurant for a superb filet steak and glass of one of the best New Zealand red wines 'Te Mata Awatea ' for my birthday lunch then a leisurely cruise back home. BECAUSE I CAN!!

Paint on the rear trim (silver) was down to the primer - spray canned it with matt black. Not sure
whether to highlight the lettering with red - I used photoshop to colour in the letters - can't make
up my mind.

Ya, that's what I was thinking Steve, understated. Just the matt shows the lettering better than with the silver paint.

The letters are so small, any colouring will not stand out enough to look effective. I changed mine to the 2012+ GT flush version without letters, finished in carbon fibre, the 2007-2009 looked to dated to me, left over from the prior generation of Jags.

A slightly less vibrant red would better match the tail lights and CHMSL. In that case, I'd say Sure, use the red.

I'd have kept the original chrome finish, if it was just me...

I just changed my oil!!! Again. Oh, and the filter of course. What a debacle that was though..... I couldn't find my filter wrench so I had to go buy one........ NOBODY within 10 miles even had the right size. I had to order it. That took four hours to arrive.
Well, at least it's done.
AND I only had to try three times to reset the Maintenance Reminder!!!
Castrol Edge and WIX, if anyone cares.

Last weekend, but I took mine to the annual British Car Day here in Oakville Ontario. Great turn out with something like 1200 cars, strategically line up along the shady tree line next to my dad's XK8 and my brother's MGB. Even brought the wife and kids (including a 3 month old). Nice to get back to it after Covid cancelled this event for the previous two years,
