What in the FLIP is up with all the lines. Wow is this now annoying to look at! Did I bump a setting or something or is this the forums new look? If this is the new look what a colossal mistake. Tell me I must have bumped a setting, please.

It's meant to make the forum more tablet / phone friendly.

 

In order to get the old look back, you have to earn enough points. Points are earned in the following ways:

5 Points: Start a thread about brake pads
10 Points: Start a thread asking which is the best tire for the XK
15 Points: Start a thread on oil brand preference.

I blame it on millennial's.

I also don't care at all for the current generation of Tata picture's posted in the header pane.

 

I too prefer the older look. This looks to have more robust picture hosting than the previous gui.

 

And don't forget motor oil. God save us all and the queen too.

 

I can live with it, though it was an unexpected change. Hopefully it will entice new members to join in, who knows?

Yeah, the new crowd will buy some junker and fix it up or buy a nice one, lower it, cut the fenders out and put flares and a wonky wrap on. At least we haven't had any stereo upgrade or wheel selection questions lately.

In a couple year folks will yearn for a good 'which dealer screws you the least' thread.

I think it's a cleaner look. I may or may not be one of those blasted millennials.

 

I hate everything the first day I notice it changes. Then on the next day, I forget what it used to look like before the change

Except Windows 10. I still hate that look. But luckily you can set it to look like Win7.

OK, I've given this a couple of weeks and I REALLY don't like the new look at all. What's more, there seems no style choices. Definitely a downgrade. This does not seem appropriate for a premiere Jaguar forum. Is there a plan? Any Mods care to comment?
