I have Steve's remote top control with the rear window option on my 12 vert. On occasion I will park the car with the top down and all four windows up and the doors lock. How do I know this works? After I push the lock button either on the door or the key fob I have tried one of the doors to make sure it is locked - yes, it is locked.

 

Both my 2010 XKR and 2000 XK8 have Steve's boxes, and I do that a lot also; locked with the tops down.
