Wind deflector xk keeps falling back
Hi,
Every time I pull up or drive over a bumpy road the windscreen keeps falling back. Garage says they can't tighten anything. Anyone any experiences or tips?

I have an OEM, and it has a 'click' lock that you can hear and feel when moving it into, or out of the upright position. Actually, 'upright' is leaning somewhat forward from vertical, and it won't move further forward than that. If your front seats are too far back, you may be hitting them with the wind deflector, and it isn't fully deployed, thus it falls backward when not in the 'locked' position.
I have an Adamesh Wind Deflector from the UK. It also has the tightening screw with thumb nut for making it more secure.
You may have to drill a small hole and use a self tapping screw to tighten the OEM Jaguar deflector.

The garage, after some persuading, tightened some screws and the windscreen stays up now. It doesn't click anymore but is more tight when pushed up. Thanks for all the responses, great forum!
I've got the Jag wind deflector as well. Found a like-new one on Ebay for about $250. Couple of things:
- I think the list price from Jaguar is way high. Because...
- I found the street address of Mina (I live in LA), and went out there (nice guys) and had them set one up in my car. The Mina locking mechanism is better-made than that the spring-snap on the Jag model. (I remember that there was some kind of locking mechanism so you could leave your top down when parked and someone coldn't just lift it out, as they can with the Jag model).
Even when it snaps in place (and 07xk is right, it snaps at a little more than 90 degrees open), it still seems to fall out now and then.
My suggestion: I bought the Jag screen because I thought it'd be worth a little more if I resold the car, and I got a good price. But failing that good price, I'd recommend the Mina.
