Default Windscreen Washer fault

Hi,

My 08 XKR has an issue with the windscreen washer unit, the pump works as I can hear it, the line is clear but it won't pick up the water. Any ideas?
Cheers

If you're absolutely sure that there are no obstructions in the line, it's got to be the pump. Making noise, but not functioning.

Maybe the pump and hose are fine but the final nozzles are clogged up. Disconnect the hose before the washer nozzle and run the pump....and see what happens.

Probably the pump, no obstructions in the line or nozzles

And now it has started working again, perhaps it was an airlock??

When I got my XKR some 4 years ago, the pump would not pick up water. Lines and nozzles were all fine. Located problem to washer tank - lack of use and somehow there was a sediment blocking the output from the tank. Removed line from wipers (from the T connection if I recall correctly as the connection is some form of valve) and blew into the washer tank. Problem sorted.
