Evening guys, I’m installing a clip on backup rear view mirror. The mirror has an integrated front facing camera that records cont in a 3 hr loop. The rear camera is HD but wired. I need help identifying the reverse light positive wire in the rear trunk. The front mirror also needs switched power. I was thinking of using one of the power wires from the overhead center console due to its proximity to the rear view mirror. Any other suggestions/help is most def welcomed and appreciated.

 

The reverse wire in the aux (rear seat junction box) on LHD is Orange/Yellow wire in CA23 in the pic below and is the easiest place to access it. It's also easily fished through to the boot if you splice it there as many wires go through on the right side.


I don't think any of the mirror wires are switched.

 

CA103/9 is a delayed switched source in the overhead console that should work. The plug is 20 pin. wire # 9 is Red/ Green
