Default X-pipe gains ?

Has anyone out there have conclusive evidence that replacing the resonator with a x-pipe actually increases the torque or hp

I removed mine due to the noise when combined with the 100cels

Nothing conclusive though it certainly seemed to in the 5.0 XKR.

but I would not do it in a 4.2. Removing the resonator takes away some of the "throbbiness" of the engine note, and that was something that I thought was the best part of the 4.2.

I know for a fact it balances out the consecutive firing of cylinder 6 & 8

I pulled the trigger last Saturday and had mine done. Dang..... now it's time to reinstall Fuse 19!
It sounds almost the same as the F-Type R I test drove. .............. like Rice Crispies....... SNAP! CRACKLE! POP!
The sound alone is good for at least ten horsies.

I'm going to make appointment today to have it done to mine. Do you have a picture of exhaust to show where the X-pipe was placed?

No pics for mine, but the X-Pipe was towards the back as there was a bit wider of a space to install it. I'll add a pic of the removed section in a minute and show where...
PLEASE forgive my lameness....
