Default X150 XKR Caliper Logo Plate Project //R

The original faded //R logo plates (rear)

Sanded down with 150 grit followed by 320.

Sprayed plates with gloss black high-temp automotive spray paint. Applied 3 coats.

Applied high temp. vinyl //R logos. Around $25 for a set of 6. Direct message me if interested.

Final product - 1

Final product - 2

Final product - 3

For around $30 I was able to refinish all four brake caliper logo plates. Jag charges $60 or more for just one of these plates.

Cheers!

Here's the same //R logo decal on my dash.

I paid $11.99 delivered for 6, direct from the manufacturer in Serbia. Here's the link: Brake Caliper Decal. They're available in various sizes and colors.

As a side note, the Alcon Performance Brakes (2008 and 2009 4.2L XKR Portfolio models) don't use //R logo decals. That logo is cast (or machined, I'm not sure) into the front and rear calipers.
