Default XK 2007. Strange quiet sound under the dashboard.

Hello, everyone!
Could you help me, please, what options might this problem have:
Jaguar XK 2007. From under the dashboard in the area of the steering column, or rather under a small grill to the right of the steering wheel (similar to the air intake for measuring the salon temperature), a strange quiet sound resembles the work of an electric motor or a steering column drive. And the sound goes and with the engine stopped (the locked car) and with the engine running. All electricians work normally, the electric steering adjustment also works in all directions (including auto mode), the sound when changing the steering position is very similar, but the source of constant noise is not in the steering column, but next, on the right.
I apologize if I wrote a little confusing, my English is not very good.
Thank you in advance for possible advice!

There is a small fan behind the grill that is part of sampling the air temperature inside the cabin. The sound is totally normal and usually not detectable when the engine is running.

This is absolutely correct, and it is also correct that the sound is normal. This is the sound of the climate control aspirator fan which begins operation when the outside door handle is pulled; it remains in operation until 15 minutes or so AFTER the engine is shut off -so do not make the mistake of thinking that it is ON permanently.

It isn't totally normal. After changing the one on my '07 XKR I deduced that the foam gasket compresses over time which allows the noise of the fan to be amplified through the frame of the dash.

I found that loosening the bolts slightly made it a little quieter but changing it for a new one was the ultimate solution as I had already bought a replacement. After that the fan was pretty much silent.

I have the same noise on my '10 XKR but as there is a second fan noise coming from the passenger footwell somewhere I am not going to bother trying to sort it out.

Default Noisy Dashboard

I have a noise coming from the passenger side even after the car is shut off. My concern is I am getting a low battery message now what can be running. My 81 Jeep CJ has a noisy clock. Any help out there the Jag dealer got me for $1600 already this month, don't want to visit him again for a while.

Under the passenger footwell is the blower motor for the heat and A/C. Try turning the heat/ac unit off on the touchscreen before turning off car and see if the noise disappears. I am not sure why it would stay on with car off anyway but this could help narrow down problem.

Amazing how much debris collects around this aspirator.
