Default XK 2015 - Invery BlueTooth Hack

Hey everyone,

I just purchased an Invery BlueTooth accessory kit for my XK 2015. It fits the iPod jack fine, and is successfully transmitting audio via BlueTooth from my phone through the iPod channel. However, the only catch is that only the passenger side speaker is playing (and the center speaker + passenger speaker if on 3-ch mode). Does anyone have any advice about how to fix this glitch? All speakers are fully functional when playing the radio/CD sources.

Thanks in advance for your advice

Was it the official Jaguar lead that you used or a clone/copy? A link to where you purchased it from would be good.

Do you have the opportunity to try it in another car.and check the results

I wasn’t aware Jaguar sold a BlueTooth adapter? If you could send me a link that would be greatly appreciated. (Just to clarify, the objective is to be able to play music from my Spotify app on my iPhone via BlueTooth).

Jaguar don't sell a BlueTooth adapter for music. MarkyUK was asking about the lead because you most likely either have a faulty lead or BlueTooth device.

The device you have bought looks like a clone of the Bovee 1000 which is what a lot of people, including me, use to stream music.

I suspect it's the lead rather than the device itself purely as you are getting sound but just not to all speakers.

But then it could be the pin connectors from the bluetooth device itself

Thanks everyone. The problem appears to be a temporary issue that resolves itself. For anyone experiencing similar symptoms in future, I’ve outlined a few important observations below:

- All symptoms disappeared the next time I started the car the following day. The Invery device streamed perfectly, and all speakers are now operating including the driver’s side speaker.

- That same day, a Bovee device I had ordered as a back-up arrived, so I thought I’d test it out of curiosity. Upon disconnecting the Invery and connecting the Bovee, exactly the same symptoms reappeared. In an attempt to resolve the issue I reconnected the Invery, and the problem persisted. After several attempts, the result was the same across both devices, so I left the Invery connected over night to see if it would resolve itself again. The next day, everything worked perfectly and there hasn’t been an issue since. (The car has been stopped and started 5 times throughout the day and it perfectly connects, streams, and plays through all speakers).

I will update this thread if any issues occur again in future.

Hopefully this is technical a glitch with my specific vehicle, but thought I’d outline the experience in case it’s helps anyone else out there.

Very nice, looks to be way cheaper than the WMA1000 Bovee, if it works well then all good.

Have never seen your reported issue, might be something with your Ipod cable or car port?

Default Invery bluetooth

Thanks for the heads up on the Invery Bluetooth. Got mine from Amazon and it solved the issue of connecting iPhone 14 for music in my 2010 XK Coupe. Kudos!
