In terms of painting that lower crossbar, maybe. But it's not black, it's the much beloved "carbon fiber" with that grey cross-hatch (I'm not a fan), and matches a similar hunk on that spoiler they tack on the back of the R-S. And given how low the car rides, what the HELL happens when you inevitably scrape/splinter it? No quick fix there...)

Actually it was a pretty cool car and fast for it's time. They were police cars in the UK for the purpose to chase club racers back in the day.
