XK8 vs. XJ Seat Control Module

XK8 vs. XJ Seat Control Module
I have an '82 XK8 with what appears to be 2 defective seat control modules. Both the XK and XJ appear to use the LNC2160AD module. If it came from an XJ, will it work in my XK? Thank you in advance!
