It's working like it should, but I noticed the amsoil I was using at 1st in my XKR-S,it seem like my engine had more of a throttle response.I say the Valvoline restore&protect works as good as the castrol does.I can live without the Amsoil better throttle response from the engine for a while as long as this Valvoline oil is cleaning out all the old gunk that's trapped in my engine for the next few oil changes before I switch back to using Amsoil again cause that Amsoil is pretty expensive too like $100 a box and I would rather have the benefits of using Valvoline and saving money by using this oil for the time being

Well........Now that I have 4 JLR products with the same 5.0 engine I now just use the same oil for everyone. LiquiMoly 0-20 in the pink jug.

The great Liqui-Moly vs Castrol debate.
There are significant differences from the base oil to the additives in these premium brands.
I’m sure all here are aware of the 2018 SCN concerning our oils.
What seems to be the killer is less oil manufacturer and more oil change frequency.
And as old habits die hard, that happens every 5000 km on my vehicles.

Agreed 100%. With a good oil extractor, I do all the cars every May regardless of miles. With 2 of us and me being gone half the time....we maybe hit 2,000 miles each car annually.
