ok I am a used car dealer and have a 07 XKR and the AC Compressor stopped working. the shop is telling me to replace the compressor on this car you have to remove the front grill, bumper, radiator, etc to get to the compressor. does anyone know if this is true? Id love to see a diagram with replacement instructions if anyone has that. Thanks

 

its on the right side of the car at the bottom,can it not be done if you take the **** shield off.

 

no clue thats why im asking you!! lol my mechanic said the only way was from the front as I described. I find that hard to believe so Im just trying to see if you experts know

 

It's on the driver side bottom of the engine. The engine needs to be supported as the left (driver side) engine mount needs to be removed to remove the compressor.

 

so what you are saying is my mechanic is not correct? he is telling me Jaguar of Louisville is who told him this info.
