Default XKR transporting question

Hi Guys.
I have a 2006 XKR soon to leave the UK bound for NZ. Does anyone have any ideas about how best to minimize a flat battery by the time it gets here. Undo battery i suppose?
The dealer i bought the car from said that i have to press the lock button at least 2 or 3 times. This puts the computers into sleep mode and activates the alarm. If i don't do this then over a period of time the battery will go flat. That is what he said.
Can anyone advise on how these remotes should be correctly used.
I want to avoid a flat battery if i can.
The trip here should take around 31 days give or take......Cheers

Jaguar ships the cars with a battery isolation device that disconnects it from the main electrics. Some circuits are LIVE on certain cars for certain functions but disconnecting it will be the best way. It might be mandatory so an electrical fire is minimized during shipping.

I spoke to the shipping company. They said they normally leave the car unlocked. Once its in the container it won't be opened until customs inspect here in NZ.
Disconnecting the battery would be the ideal i would have thought.....cheers
