Default ZF 6HP28 filler plug size and access

Does anyone know the correct size hex bit for the filler plus on the above gearbox? Is access tight? I do have some shallow access hex sockets and ratchets (snap on)- will these work?
Thanks

a pic of what you have would help. It's an 8mm hex head - torque is 35 nm when you get done. I use a 3/4" long piece of an Allen wrench through an open ended ratchet wrench. Yes access is very tight but obviously can be done:-)

Access is tight and it has to be done with engine running=hot exhaust. Still have a scar on my arm. I recommend those thermo-protection sleaves
