Battery
I have a 1952 xk120 and there are no battery trays behind the seat. There are battery connectors in the engine compartment down by the starter but I don't see a tray/rails where a battery would sit?? Anyone know what might be going on?
Thanks and OHHH SH*T! I went to look at the car yesterday at a dealer of vintage cars. It's in pretty good shape but when I pushed the seats forward to look at the battery boxes, it's simply a ledge, there are no battery goes. When they went to start it, they had to jump it from under the car, near the starter. I thought it was odd but they showed me paperwork saying it is a 120. I took a picture of the plate in the engine compartment and it looks like P1937. I'm glad I didn't give them any money yet. You can call me if you have a min. Thanks for the help! Kevin 2138049582

Also, the car has 120 bumpers and grille but a 140 dash. I'm confused.
