Hi there,
I need a waterpump for my 1950 xk120. I took a picture of the pump and sent it to a parts supplier. They're telling me that it's actually a pump from a xk140. Would this be possible? I haven't the pump off to confirm but it does look like the 140 pump.

Could be the later pump if improvements meant it was the part to use when the original wore out. The engine block and radiator arrangements didn't change AFAIK from 120 to 140.
