Hi
We are fitting an electronic ignition to my xk140. We can not get a spark unless we disconnect the wire going to the choke. But obviously with no choke it won't start.
What am I doing wrong?

Hello,
If cold the choke thermostat will give ground.
Looks like something is connected wrong?
Do you still have positive ground?
Try a temporary wire to the ignition and the battery ( neg. if ground is Pos. )
