Here is what I have learned about the brakes and rotors on my 2001 XKR. In searching multiple sites for the parts, I have discovered that most of the suppliers believe that all the XKR's have the performance brakes. NOT TRUE!! The XKR has the same rotors and pads as the XK8, unless it was ordered with the performance brake option or is one of the special editions(Silverstone, XK100, etc). I believe this to be true for the 2000-2002 XKR series. If you are ordering rotors and pads for your XKR in this series, I would suggest that you state that they are for an XK8. Ask me how I know!!!!

I ordered a set front and rear for the XKR as listed and had to send them all back. Ordered the set listed for XK8 and they fit perfectly.
