I had an orange engine light and car seems fine, with the exception of a "rougher" idle. I drove around with it and once or twice the idle dropped too low and I got the "engine stall" message.
Code reader says P0400 - Exhaust Gas Recirculation flow. I read something on here about an EGR valve?
Anyone had this issue before? Thanks

I remember one member getting a EGR error related message, he had to replace his EGR valve. IIRC, it also was a DIY but a real bee-otch.
It too was on an XKR also...what's up with your EGRs that puts them under so much stress?

I looked under the TB and you're right H20, looks like a big PIA to get to. So I got a bottle of carb cleaner spray, took off the intake tube, and with the engine running opened up the butterfly on the TB and sprayed a moderate amount of carb cleaner all around and down the TB. I guess that seemed to do the trick - idle is noticeably smoother (although I still feel it's maybe a little rougher than it should be) and once I reset the code it hasn't come back after driving all day.
Fingers crossed as I watch it over the next few days...

Problems again...
P0400 disappeared after I cleaned the TB a bit and cleared the code as mentioned above.
What followed was a jag specific code, something along the lines of "registering too lean". I figured it was because of the carb cleaner I used and just reset the code.
A day later, once again a check engine light, now P0133 & P0153 O2 sensor circuit slow response - Bank 1 & 2 Sensors 1. Again, car seems to be driving fine.....I'm lost...

Better double check if there are no air leaks, the p0400 and the lean codes certainly point in that direction. So check that the EGR unit sits tightly on the elbow and that the pipe between the egr and exhaust is not leaking. The p0400 only shows if you have gotten the error in 2 consecutive drive cycles, so could reapear later again.
Not sure why both upper O2 sensors show an issue now though.
