Default '08 XKR Conv...will adding Recaro CS add any rear legroom?

I have the portfolio version that has the thick padded bucket seats OEM.

My kids are getting a little older but my car only has 15k miles on it, so I need to try to keep it-

***Has anyone observed Recaro seats producing more rear seat legroom? I'm looking at the Recaro Sportster CS seats.

There are some very good adoption agencies around, and much cheaper than the Recaro's

The crude remarks about getting rid of your kids should be ignored. Those posters should be ashamed.

However, without those pesky little legs not only would they fit but you'd get preferred parking everywhere you go!

For now, swap over to an XJ until the little darlings finally leave the nest. By then you could afford and F-Type.

Default 08?

For an '08 you are likely in the wrong section. 2007s and newer should be in current. I have an 04 and put in ergomeds. There is a little improvement but I still wouldn't put anyone with legs in the back seat (especially now that I no longer have a back seat.

I finished measurements, and with the Recaro Sportster CS seats,...I get 3 3/4 inches of legroom in the back seat!..............This is Huge, and will do the trick for me.
Thanks All!

Cool, good luck, don't forget to post finished pictures in the "current" section. Nice looking car, cute kids! I'm sure they'll appreciate the legroom!

I thought the cs seats had a fix back. It appears your car has headrests and they look nice.

Wouldn't just be easier to carry the kids in the trunk? There's actually quite a bit of room back there. The golf clubs can go on the rear seat.

Hi Gary, I‘ve an XKR X100 Coupe with OEM Recaro and thinking about installing a pair of RECARO Cross CS to gain more leg room.

I know that is a very old post but for me the topic is very actual. If you are still active in the forum, I would be happy to hear about your experiences with the CS seats.

I would sacrifice their legs before messing with the car
