1997 XJ8 3.2 Executive engine sounds
Strange sounds coming from my engine. My first Jag so little experience, anyone advise?

This isn't the forum for your model (see https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xj-xj8-xjr-x308-27/ ) BUT members here will have plenty of advice on the V8.
My advice would be SWITCH IT OFF and don't run it again until you've removed the camshaft covers to check timing chain tensioners.
