Engine replacement

I need to replace the engine in my 1998 XK8.
It seems that's the AJ26 engine only installed on the 1997-98 XK8 and XJ8
how different is the AJ27 used from 1999-2003 ? Would I be complicating the swap significantly by using an AJ27?

Answer: Sorta different, definitely complicates. Having done the opoposite surgery I would recommend finding a good AJ26 and just drop it in, otherwise you are looking at swapping a bunch of parts...
