The rubber exterior seal on the rear window of my 1997 XK8 Convertible pops out at the upper right hand corner after raising the roof. I usually just push it back into place but would like to repair it. Does anyone know if there is an adhesive that holds it in place and if so, what kind?

 

The rear glass is installed with a urethane windshield adhesive like this: 3M 08693 Auto Glass Urethane Windshield Adhesive

This material is supposed to go on the edge of the glass during installation, but you might be able to effect a repair with it. It is a very agressive and flexible adhesive once cured.
