1999 XK8 - 19" Rims
Guys,
Need some feedback.
My 1999 XK8 (read up on other threads and didn't want to reserect any)
I plan on fitting 19" rims.
I have Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires on the rims.
Now, what I'm about to say is I'm aware the following is not the correct spec tire sizes.
What I have:
Rear: 285/35ZR19
Front: 255/40ZR19
No issues w/ rear.
Front tires are rubbing. (Entire car is lowered)
Now, Michelin offers a 235/35ZR19 tire that should compensate in the front and clear the wheel wells and keep the same brand/type Michelin tire on the car.
Issue I'm worried about is the ABS 5% threshold.
285/35 tire is 774 revolutions per mile.
235/35 tire is 817 revolutions per mile.
Differential is a bit over 5%
Am I on the right track thinking this is going to be an issue?
If I get 1" or 1.5" height back upward, will the 255/40ZR19 tires up front work, or do I just get a set of 245's instead?
Thanks in advance.
