Default 1999 XK8 blowing fuse

#7 fuse on the drivers side “facia” fuse box blew causing the car to not able to shift out of park. Replaced fuse, shifted car out of park all OK. Next time I started car, fuse #7 (15 amp) was blown again.
Any ideas?

Be careful.
May not be, but have you done any work around the header rail recently?

Yes....
I had to replace the latch lines and rebuild the cylinder for the top. Still not working quite right...

OK.
I'd recommend you follow Fairfalcon's temporary fix (in the thread I posted above) for the time being and disconnect the vanity lights.
It could save you from a BPM meltdown...
