Default 1999 XK8 clicking in tranny tunnel

My 99 XK8 has been buried in snow since the beginning of Janurary. I just finished charging the battery and driving it till it warmed up with almost no issues.
I noticed that when I got home, when sitting in it's parking space that every time I stepped on the brake pedal and the brake lights came on I heard a clicking in the tranny tunnel and I felt it in the stick in P-N-D etc. Is there a solenoid or brake light switch in the tranny tunnel that would do this?
Thanks
Jack

Default It's the shifter lockout......

That's normal- there's a solenoid on the shifter that keeps it locked in park unless you step on the brake first. Once your foot is on the brake, you can shift out of park. Putting your foot on and off the brake energizes and de-energizes the solenoid. That's the click...
